Your body has different priorities than you do -- when you're sick, it will try to restore your health before it will devote any resources to muscle-building.


If you're looking to get in shape another thing to consider is to gradually increase the difficulty of your regimen. And too slow, the results will be too slow, if you increase it too fast you will lose your motivation. If you used to walk 30 minutes a day at a rate of three miles an hour increase it to thirty minutes, or increase your speed to three and a half miles per hour, for example.


Running may possibly be the best way to lose weight. Running uses a lot of the muscles in your body as well as your heart. Your body needs energy to keep on running and will take energy from the fat stored in your body to keep on running.
